Mallely Under The Rain by Teri Gender Bender of @LeButcherettes.

Mallely Under The Rain

The hurt is held by vicious feelings whimpering over me

Endless subjects keep us floating and still I think of you, Mallely

Let’s bury the value of beautiful things that keep us living

You prefer to follow your heart with the fire in your eyes

Ohhhhh, you’re beautiful!

Ohhhhh, you’re beautiful!

Ohhhhh, you’re beautiful My Mallely!

My Malley, I need you so

My Malley, I need you so

Under the rain, rain, rain, rain

Under the rain, rain, rain, rain

PD: La canción le pertenece a Teri Gender Bender.

Rolling Stone: Interviews Teri Gender Bender & Omar Rodriguez Lopez On Pulling Double Duty in Le Butcherettes & At The Drive In

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Teri Gender Bender & Lia Braswell of Le Butcherettes in their trailer at Coachella.

Inside a small trailer backstage at Coachella yesterday, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez was trying to cool down after his first performance of the day, and the dressing room wasn’t much cooler than the triple-digit heat outside. Rodriguez-Lopez pulled double duty on both festival weekends in Indio, California, playing lead guitar with the reunited At the Drive-In on the main stage just hours after a full set on bass with Le Butcherettes, the fiery garage-punk band whose next album he is currently producing in Los Angeles.

Rodriguez-Lopez is a full permanent member of Le Butcherettes, and during the trio’s raging 45-minute set, he stood back with a smile as Guadalajaran singer-guitarist Teri Gender Bender roared through anxious pop hooks with sharp edges, at one point tossing a big Casio keyboard into the moshing crowd. New drummer Lia Braswell slammed a heavy beat from stage left and fans waved Mexican flags, as they would again later for At the Drive-In. Soon after, Rodriguez-Lopez sat with Le Butcherettes for several rounds of bottled water and talked with Rolling Stone about their busy Coachella week.

Is playing two sets a day a challenge?
Rodriguez-Lopez: No, it’s a blessing. Go play music all day? I should be so lucky. Last weekend we played, then we cooled off, we ate, and then just when you really feel like you’re winding down, “Oh, it’s time to play.” It’s perfect.

Le Butcherettes hail from the underground Mexican scene, where they quickly rose to fame for their daring live act featuring onstage theatrics involving fake blood and political stunts in the name of stopping violence against women….

Ryan’s Rock Show Video Interview: Le Butcherettes

Le Butcherettes frontwoman Teri Gender Bender has little patience for unenthusiastic crowds, especially ones in Arizona. Hesitant to play the band’s Mesa show on their recent stint with Deftones, Gender Bender, raised in Mexico from age 14, made it a point to mark her territory, expressing her angst towards the state’s controversial immigration law.

“I got offstage in the big grass area, and got next to some bros that were sitting down…and pissed next to them without taking off anything. I just felt better that way,” she commented, adding that “I hate when people sit down [during shows], it’s so rude!”

A band consisting of ex-Hella bassist Jonathan Hischke and former Cattle Decapitation/The Locust drummer Gabe Serbian, the group has been leaving its mark on more than just grassy fields. Having recently completed a US trek with Deftones and The Dillinger Escape Plan, the band will continue to support its 2010 effort Sin, Sin, Sin on Lollapalooza and an upcoming West Coast run with Queens of the Stone Age. And if all goes as planned, the band will enter the studio in fall to record its second album (the first with its revised lineup of Hischke and Serbian) with The Mars Volta guitarist Omar Rodriguez Lopez at the production helm; he also produced the group’s debut outing.
